recital time…
this past june, my recital marked the final performance of my master’s degree (dang!). it featured berlioz, tagg/palmer, a couple of silly surprises, and an open bar (because why not?).

i packed everything up this past summer and joined the team at the New Orleans Opera! excited to be united with the movers and shakers of this historic company. also, yay! no more winter (and plenty of gumbo in its place).

the stupendous women of Rivendell Theatre Ensemble invited me back to my stomping grounds to workshop Monica West’s brilliant new play, Nina/Violetta. there’s a first time for everything— including singing “Sempre libera” while self-accompanying on a synthesizer.
